Fullhart vs. Sanderson featured match among six bouts shown on ESPN2 coverage of U.S. Nationals on M

The men's freestyle gold-medal match at 84 kg/185 lbs. between Lee Fullhart (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) and Cael Sanderson (Ames, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) is a featured bout on the national broadcast of the 2004 U.S. National Wrestling Championships, which were held in  Las Vegas, Nev    The one-hour show will air on ESPN2 nationally on Friday, May 21, at 11:00 p.m. Eastern time.    Only the Fullhart vs. Sanderson match will be shown in its entirety, a bout which No. 2 seed Fullhart upset No. 1 seed Sanderson. Based upon his victory, Fullhart was named Outstanding Wrestler in the U.S. Nationals in the freestyle division.    There will be extensive coverage of five other matches on the show, which includes     120 kg/264.5 lbs. in Greco-Roman: Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) vs.  Rulon Gardner (Cascade, Colo./Sunkist Kids)     55 kg/121 lbs. in men's freestyle: Stephen Abas (Fresno, Calif./Sunkist Kids) vs. Sammie Henson (West Point, N.Y./Sunkist Kids)     63 kg/138.75 lbs. in women's freestyle: Kristie Marano (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) vs. Sara McMann (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids)     55 kg/121 lbs. in Greco-Roman: Brandon Paulson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Minnesota Storm) vs.  Lindsey Durlacher (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC)     120 kg/264.5 lbs. in men's freestyle: Kerry McCoy (Bethlehem, Pa./New York AC)  vs. Steven Mocco (N. Bergen, N.J./New York AC)    Included in these matches are some of the greatest U.S. wrestlers in recent history.    Gardner was a 2000 Olympic champion. Paulson was a 1996 Olympic silver medalist. Henson was a 2000 Olympic silver medalist. Henson, Gardner, Byers and Marano were past World Champions. McCoy was a member of the 2000 U.S. Olympic team. Sanderson, McCoy and McMann won World silver medals in 2003.    The event will be announced by a talented and veteran broadcast crew. Olympic champion Dan Gable will provide his expert analysis with Van Stokes providing color commentary, Joe Miller conducting interviews and Larry Nugent serving as the play-by-play announcer.
