125  No. 1 Matt Valenti of Penn dec. No. 2 Mario Stuart of Lehigh, 8-2   Valenti opened the scoring with a fireman's carry, with an effective finish for a 2-0 lead just 35 seconds into the match. Valenti was able to ride for 1:01, until Stuart got an escape for a 2-1 score. Stuart almost scored at the end of the first period. In the second, Vilenti got a quick escape to go to 3-1, then scored on a low single leg tackle, finishing on the edge for a 5-1 lead. Valenti rode him out the rest of the second period, running his riding time up to 2:11. Stuart chose bottom in the third period and Valenti continued his tough ride for another minute, clinching riding time. Stuart's escape made it 5-2. Another Valenti takedown with 38 seconds left ran it to 7-2, and the riding time made it 8-2.    133  No. 1 Travis Lee of Cornell maj. dec. No. 2 Matt Ciasulli of Lehigh, 13-4  Early in the first period, Ciasulli got behind Lee from the feet, tried to sink in the legs as Lee countered and was unable to complete the takedown. Lee scored a takedown with 57 seconds left for a 2-0 lead. Ciasulli scored an escape shortly after, but Lee nailed another leg attack takedown for a 4-1 lead at the end of the first period. Ciasulli takes the bottom in period one, and Lee rides him for almost a minute before cutting Ciasulli loose to make it 4-2. In a scramble, the officials award Lee a takedown with 40 seconds left for a 6-2 lead after two periods. Lee started in the neutral position in the third, took Ciasulli down three times in the third period, with escapes in between, running his lead up to 12-4. His 2:53 riding time made it 13-4.    141  No. 3 Doug McGraw of Penn dec. No. 1 Cory Cooperman of Lehigh, 10-8, ot, 7:59  Cooperman opened the scoring with a low single leg, lifting McGraw high on the finish, just 30 seconds into the bout. He rode McGraw with a tough spiral ride, before McGraw got an escape to close it to 2-1. Cooperman went down in the second period and scored a reversal for a 4-1 lead. An escape by McGraw was followed by another Cooperman takedown on the edge for a 6-2 margin. McGraw picked up an escape at the end of the period, making it 6-3, but Cooperman had over two minutes of riding time. With Cooperman on top in the third, McGraw got out 30 seconds later for a 6-4 margin, but riding time was already guaranteed. McGraw opened it and in the last 15 seconds tied the bout. McGraw got a takedown, let Cooperman up, then took him down on the buzzer. The riding time point made it an 8-8 tie. Overtime begins with the athletes on their feet. McGraw shoots first but can not finish, going to a stalemate. Another takedown attempt by McGraw is countered by a whizzer, but McGraw sinks in a leg and gets the takedown with one second left in the overtime period.    149   No. 1 Jesse Jantzen of Harvard dec. No. 3 David Dies of Brown, 5-2   Jantzen opened the scoring with a takedown on the edge with just over a minute left in the period for a 2-0 lead. Using a spiral ride and crab ride on top, Jantzen rode out the period, and both athletes were warned for stalling. Jantzen chose neutral in the second period, and there were no points scored. Dies also chose neutral in the third, but Jantzen, on a counter, scored another takedown for a 4-0 lead. Jantzen continues to ride tough and clinches the riding time point. Dies seems unable to get off the mat. Jantzen is hit for a stalling penalty, making it 4-1 with 38 seconds to go. A Dies granby roll earns an escape, to make the match, 4-2. Riding time makes the bout 5-2 for Jantzen, winning his third career EIWA title.    157  No. 1 Philip Simpson of Army won by med. Forfeit over No. 2 Derek Zinck of Lehigh   Simpson wins by medical forfeit, as Zinck is unable to compete in the match due to injuries in the earlier bouts.    165  No. 1 Troy Letters of Lehigh dec. No. 2 Joe Mazzurco of Cornell, 9-4  On an active scramble, Letters gets behind Mazzurco and gets the opening takedown and a 2-0 lead. Letters is able to ride Mazzurco, who takes a few timeouts for blood. Letters is warned for stalling, and rides out the first period. In the second, Mazzurco is down and gets an escape to make it 2-1. A Letters takedown with one minute left makes it 4-2, then Mazzurco gets an escape. Letters scores his third straight takedown with 20 seconds to go, to finish the second period at 6-2. Letters takes bottom for the third period and gets out within 10 seconds, pushing the lead to 7-2. Riding time is also clinched. Mazzurco gets a takedown with 32 seconds left, followed by a quick Letters escape, making it 8-4. Riding time of 2:41 gives Letters his final point.     174  No. 1 Brad Dillon of Lehigh dec. No. 2 Andy Roy of Rutgers, 7-4  Dillon scores the opening takedown on the edge with 1:11 left in the period. Roy quickly escapes for a 2-1 score. Roy gets a good shot but is unable to finish and the period ends, 2-1. Roy takes down and gets out in just seven seconds, making it 2-2. After trading attempts, there is a scramble and Dillon gets a takedown with eight seconds to go, followed by an instant Roy escape, and the period ends at 4-3. Dillon takes down and gets his escape in about 20 seconds, making it 5-3. Roy gets a single leg, but the athletes go out of bounds without a score. Dillon is hit for stalling in the final 10 seconds, making it 5-4. During a furious rush by Roy, Dillon throws him by for a final takedown in the closing seconds for a 7-4 final score. There is no riding time.    184  No. 1 Travis Frick of Lehigh dec. No. 7 Rudy Medini of Rutgers, 5-3  Frick scores the opening takedown midway through the first period, with Medini getting away right away, for a 2-1 lead. No more points are scored in the period. Frick takes down, and gets his escape on a sitout turning for a 3-1 lead. No takedown are scored in the second period. Medini takes down and gets an escape quickly, making it 3-2. With a minute to go on the clock, Frick hits a low single leg on the edge for a takedown and a 5-2 lead. Medini gets away on another escape, making it 5-3, and is not able to crack Frick's defense as time runs out.    197  No. 1 Matt Greenburg of Cornell dec. No. 2 Marcus Schontube of Penn, 3-2  There is no takedown in the first period. Schontube lifts a single leg late in the period, but Greenburg counters out. In the second period, Greenburg takes down and gets an escape in just nine seconds. The second period ends with no takedown and a 1-0 score. Schontube takes down in the third period. It takes just a few seconds for Schontube to get his escape and tie the bout at 1-1. With 11 seconds left, Greenburg gets a takedown for a 3-1 lead. He lets Schontube out and defends an attack for the 3-2 win.    285  No. 1 Matt Feast of Penn dec. No. 2 Tanner Garrett of Navy, 4-1  Feast scores a takedown in the first period, then rides out Garrett for 1:29 to end the period leading 2-0. In the second, Feast chooses down and gets an escape in eight seconds to make it 3-0. No takedowns are scored in the second period. Garrett is down in the third, and Feast rides for 40 seconds, adding to the riding time. Garrett gets his standup escape, to make it 3-1, but can't get a takedown. Feast's riding time makes it 4-1.
