125 - #2 Tom Clum (Wisconsin) dec. #1 Luke Eustice (Iowa), 5-3  First Period:  Clum scores first with a duckunder for a 2-0 lead. After a Eustice escape, Clum scored another takedown on a single-leg.    Second Period:  Eustice chose bottom and scored an escape to cut the lead to 4-3. Eustice got deep on a single-leg near the end of the period, but time ran out as he began to switch it to a double-leg.    Third Period:  Clum chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 5-3. Eustice again got deep on a single-leg, but Clum sprawled out of it.    133 - #3 Mark Jayne (Illinois) dec. #1 Foley Dowd (Michigan), 5-4  First Period:  Jayne appeared to finish a single-leg on the edge of the mat, but the official ruled the two out of bounds. Dowd took a 2-0 lead with 21 seconds left in the period after a takedown.    Second Period:  Jayne chose bottom and earned an escape to cut the lead to 2-1. With 41 seconds left in the period, Jayne scored on a single-leg to take a 3-1 lead.    Third Period:  Dowd chose bottom and earned an escape to tie the match at 3-3. With 45 seconds remaining, Jayne finished a single-leg for a 5-3 advantage. Dowd takes injury time Dowd earns an escape to cut the lead to 5-4. Dowd threw an electrifying body lock, but Jayne rolled off his back right back to his feet, and no points were awarded.    141 - #1 Cliff Moore (Iowa) dec. Doug Withstandley (Purdue), 6-2  First Period:  Withstandley began a scramble with a foot sweep attempt. After nearly 15 seconds of both wrestlers rolling around, Moore positioned into a double-leg, finishing for a 2-0 lead. Moore 1:18 riding time    Second Period:  Moore chose bottom and quickly earned an escape to extend his lead to 3-0, before finishing a double-leg to go up 5-0. Withstandley earned an escape to cut the lead to 5-1.    Third Period:  Withstandley chose bottom, but Moore rode him for most of the period. Withstandley earned an escape late in the match, but Moore had over two minutes of riding time.    149 - #1 Ryan Churella (Michigan) dec. #3 Matt Storniolo (Penn St.), 5-0  First Period:  Churella reached down for a single-leg with one minute left in the period, but Storniolo was able to use a whizzer to work out of it. Storniolo then shot a single-leg, but Churella sprawled to a stalemate.    Second Period:  Churella chose bottom and scored a reversal 30 seconds into the period for a 2-0 lead. Churella then rode Storniolo out for the remainder of the period. Churella 1:08 riding time    Third Period:  Storniolo chose bottom. Churella locked up a cradle and rolled Storniolo to his back for two nearfall points. Churella rode Storniolo out for the entire period.    157 - #1 Alex Tirapelle (Illinois) dec. #2 Ryan Bertin (Michigan), 6-0  First Period:  Tirapelle shot an ankle pick, and after a short scramble, the official called a stalemate. Bertin takes injury time Bertin shot a single-leg, but Tirapelle countered and locked a cradle, turning Bertin for three nearfall points and a 5-0 lead.    Second Period:  Tirapelle chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 6-0.    Third Period:  Bertin chose neutral. No scoring.    165 - #3 Jacob Volkmann (Minnesota) maj. dec. #1 John Clark (Ohio St.), 16-2  First Period:  Volkmann scored early on a single-leg for a 2-0 lead. Volkmann used a double arm-bar to turn Clark twice for nearfall points each time. Clark then reversed Volkmann after rolling through the second turn, but Volkmann took an 8-2 lead with a reversal of his own. Volkmann 1:57 riding time    Second Period:  Volkmann chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 9-2. Volkmann scored another takedown, and using the same double arm-bar, turned Clark again. Clark adjusted but Volkmann still ended up on top, gaining three nearfall points.    Third Period:  Clark chose top. Volkmann earned one more point after Clark locked his hands. Late in the match, Volkmann nearly went to his back after trying to arch into an escape.    174 - #2 Ryan Lange (Purdue) dec. #1 Tyler Nixt (Iowa), 5-2  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Lange chose bottom and quickly earned an escape for a 1-0 lead.    Third Period:  Nixt chose bottom and earned an escape to tie the score at 1-1.    Overtime:  No scoring. Lange got deep on a single-leg, but was unable to finish around Nixt's knee.    Tiebreakers:  Lange chose bottom and earned an escape in the first half of the tiebreaker. Nixt then chose bottom and earned an escape to tie the match at 2-2.    Second Overtime:  No scoring.    Second Tiebreakers:  Nixt chose bottom and Lange rode him out. In the second half, Lange chose bottom and Nixt let him up. Lange countered a Nixt shot for a ta single-leg to take a 5-2 lead.    184 - #2 Eric Bradley (Penn St.) dec. #5 Paul Bradley (Iowa), 3-2  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Eric Bradley chose bottom and earned an escape for a 1-0 lead.    Third Period:  Paul Bradley takes a blood timeout Paul Bradley chose bottom and earned an escape to tie the match at 1-1. Eric Bradley then scored on a single-leg to take a 3-1 lead. Paul Bradley earned another escape to cut the lead to 3-2.    197 - #1 Damion Hahn (Minnesota) dec. #2 Ryan Fulsaas (Iowa), 7-2  First Period:  Hahn finished a double-leg for a 2-0 lead. Hahn rode Fulsaas for the remainder of the period. Hahn 1:27 riding time    Second Period:  Hahn chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 3-0. Hahn shot a high-crotch, and finished on the edge of the mat to take a 5-0 lead.    Third Period:  Fulsaas chose neutral. With 31 seconds left, Fulsaas scored a takedown to cut the lead to 5-2.    285 - #1 Tommy Rowlands (Ohio St.) dec. #3 Pat Cummins (Penn St.), 5-4  First Period:  No scoring. Late in the period, Rowlands got deep on a single-leg, but Cummins moved out of bounds. The official warned Cummins for stalling.    Second Period:  Cummins chose bottom and quickly earned an escape for a 1-0 lead. Rowlands then scored a takedown to take a 2-1 lead.    Third Period:  Rowlands chose bottom and earned an escape to take a 4-2 lead. Cummins then got deep on a single-leg, finishing to tie the score at 4-4. Cummins let Rowlands up, giving Rowlands a 5-4 lead. He then shot another single-leg, but Rowlands was able to draw a stalemate.
