Many coaches put in long hours for the sport of wrestling. It can be a tireless job. The National Coaches Education Program runs annual Silver Level Coaches Colleges to recharge coaches and help them strive for excellence as they affect the lives of young people. For the 2004 Indianapolis Silver Level Coaches College the NCEP has given each state association the opportunity to register two coaches at the price of $150 per participant. The $150 price is a significant savings of $75 from the original registration fee of $225. In order to receive the $150 State Leaders rate, a coach must request to be a representative of their state association. Each state chairperson or coaches director will then can choose two coaches to attend for the $150 price. The state chair or coaches director must submit the application and fee to the National Office. The 2004 Silver College begins with registration on Tuesday May 18th. The college will have nearly thirty hours of classroom and technical instruction before the whistle of the Olympic Trials! As a part of this great package each coach will receive an All-Session pass to the unbelievable action of the 2004 Olympic Trials at the RCA Dome. Technicians and instructors for the week will be some of America's leading coaches, including USA Wrestling National Staff. Silver College attendance is a requirement for any coach wishing to advance their certification past the Bronze Level. Coaches interested in receiving this special rate are encouraged to contact their state chairperson or state coaches director to receive their state's endorsement. Make your plans to attend the 2004 Silver Level College prior to the Olympic Trials this May! Requirements for the State Leaders Rate: 1. Selection through your USAW State Association 2.
