Near the end of the period, DeVoe appeared to have scored a takedown at the edge of the mat, but the official ruled that the two had gone out of bounds before any scoring occurred.    Second Period:  Stites chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 3-1. Stites then shot a double-leg, but DeVoe sprawled and spin behind Stites for the takedown, tying the match at 3-3.    Third Period:  DeVoe chose bottom and could not earn an escape, giving the win to Stites with a riding time point.    133 - Johnny Thompson (OSU) dec. Paul Collum (M), 3-1  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Collum chose bottom and earned an escape for a 1-0 lead. Thompson scored a takedown on a low double-leg to take a 2-1 lead late in the period.    Third Period:  Thompson chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 3-1.    141 - J.P. Reese (M) dec. Ronnie Delk (OSU), 4-0  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Delk chose bottom but could not earn an escape, giving Reese two minutes of riding time.    Third Period:  Reese chose bottom and earned an escape for a 1-0 lead. On a Delk shot, Reese locked up a cradle and finished with a takedown for a 3-0 lead.    149 - Zack Esposito (OSU) dec. Jeremy Spates (M), 4-3  First Period:  After a scramble, Esposito came out behind Spates for a 2-0 lead.    Second Period:  Spates chose bottom and earned an escape to cut the lead to 2-1. Spates then finished a single-leg with a trip to take a 3-2 lead.    Third Period:  Esposito chose bottom and earned an escape to tie the match at 3-3. Esposito earns one more point at the end of the match for riding time.    157 - Johnny Hendricks (OSU) dec. Kenny Burleson (M), 3-1  First Period:  Hendricks exploded with a double-leg with 20 seconds left in the period, taking a 2-0 lead.    Second Period:  Burleson chose bottom and earned an escape to cut the lead to 2-1.    Third Period:  Hendricks chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 3-1.    165 - Tyrone Lewis (OSU) dec. Tyron Woodley (M), 6-3  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Woodley chose bottom and quickly earned an escape for a 1-0 lead. Lewis then took a 2-1 lead with a takedown. Woodley was warned for stallking after he earned an escape to tie the match at 2-2.    Third Period:  Lewis chose bottom and earned a reversal by stepping over Woodley for a 4-2 lead. Woodley then earned another escape to cut the lead to 4-3. Lewis added another takedown near the end of the period.    174 - Chris Pendleton (OSU) dec. Ben Askren (M), 7-3  First Period:  Pendleton finished a double-leg for a 2-0 lead. Askren earned an escape to cut the lead to 2-1. Pendleton scored again, this time on an ankle-pick, to take a 4-1 lead.    Second Period:  Pendleton chose bottom and earned an escape to extend his lead to 5-1. Askren then scored a takedown to cut the lead to 5-3. Pendleton earned an escape.    Third Period:  Askren chose bottom and could not earn an escape.    184 - Jake Rosholt (OSU) pinned Matt Pell (M), 6:12  First Period:  Pell finished a single-leg at the edge of the mat to take a 2-0 lead. After a Rosholt escape, Pell once again scored a takedown from a single-leg shot. Rosholt cut the lead to 4-2 with an escape, and then used an arm drag to tie the match at 4-4.    Second Period:  Rosholt chose bottom and quickly earned an escape to take a 5-4 lead. Rosholt then turned a single-leg into a double-leg and scored a takedown, extending his lead to 7-4. He then tilted Pell for three nearfall points, taking control of the match.    Third Period:  Pell chose bottom and Rosholt used a half nelson to turn Pell and pin him.    197 - Jeff Foust (M) dec. Rusty Blackmon (OSU), 5-2  First Period:  Foust finished a single-leg for a 2-0 lead and rode out Blackmon for the remainder of the period.    Second Period:  Foust chose neutral and scored a takedown to extend his lead to 4-0. Blackmon then earned an escape to cut the lead to 4-1.    Third Period:  Blackmon chose bottom and earned an escape to cut the lead to 4-2.    285 - Mike Whitehead (M) pinned Will Gruenwald (OSU), 4:32  First Period:  No scoring.    Second Period:  Gruenwald chose bottom. Whitehead rode Gruenwald out for over a minute before using an arm bar to turn him to his back and pin him.
