WSWA Bronze Clinic Schedule for 2004    Jay Terry WSWA coaches' director will be conducting several Bronze Clinics in conjunction with local events.    You only need to complete one clinic to become Bronze certifed by USA Wrestling    Each clinic time begain at 7:15pm till the conclustion at the listed site.    1)January 3rd, 2004 Gig Harbor High School  2)January 31st,2004 Bellingham high School  3)February 28th, 2004 Elma High School  4)March 27th,2004 Battle Ground High School  5)April 24th,2004 Tumwater High School    Cost of the clinics is $60.00    You must also have a USA coaches card which can be purchased at the clinic for $35.00    To reserve your spot or get more information contact:  Jay Terry WSWA Coaches' Director  E-Mail tossfor5@hotmail.com  The Bronze Level Certification course is an outstanding way for coaches to further their knowledge and understanding of the sport of wrestling. Each year over one thousand coaches across the country achieve Bronze Certification. Completion of the Bronze Course allows participants to coach at state, regional, and national USA Wrestling events.     To achieve certification coaches must attend a USA Wrestling sanctioned Bronze Clinic, complete self study of the USA Wrestling Coaches Guide to Excellence, and complete and return to the National Office a fifty question take home test. Participants must receive an 80% or better grade on the test to be Bronze Certified.     When coaches achieve Bronze Certification they receive the USA Wrestling billfold card to use when registering at USA Wrestling events, a Bronze Certificate suitable for framing, the Course text valued at $30, and a USA Wrestling Bronze Certified Coaches' shirt.     The National Coaches Education Program's Bronze Level serves as an important tool for coaches to learn more about the most up to date ways to successfully coach wrestling. The Bronze Level is the second step in the NCEP. Coaches can still attend a Bronze Course if they are not certified at the Copper Level. The Bronze Course is best suited for participants with past knowledge of the sport of wrestling or previous experience in coaching.
