USA Wrestling's popular Ultimate Challenge Series of folkstyle wrestling began with the successful Winter Classic in Danville, Ill, Nov. 29-30.    Wrestlers from 15 states converged at the David Palmer Arena for high-quality competition, with athletes traveling from as far away as Alaska and Florida.    Participants in the competition earned valuable points in this seven-event series, which will lead to the presentation of the prestigious Dominator Awards at the end of the season.     Athletes have begun to score points in the Series, which culminates with the USA Wrestling National Kids/Cadet Folkstyle Championships in Cedar Falls, Iowa, April 2-4, 2004. The Ultimate Challenge Series will continue in December with two more exciting events: the Brock Lesnar Gopher Kids Classic, in Rochester, Minn., December 21, and the Cotton Bowl Classic, December 27-28 in Dallas, Texas.     The Series will then move in to 2004 with the U.S. Junior Open in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Jan. 9-10; the Liberty Nationals in Kansas City, Mo. on Feb. 14; Wrestle-FEST 2004 in Norfolk, Va., March 12-14 and USA Wrestling National Folkstyle Championships in Cedar Falls, Iowa, April 2-4.     Please note the Wrestle-FEST 2004 is the only East Coast Ultimate Challenge Series event.    The Ultimate Challenge Series of Folkstyle Wrestling is bigger and better this year. With two new exciting tournaments being added, more youth wrestlers will have a chance to participate in this popular series.
