Drexel's Rebmann, Hofstra's Skretkowicz CAA Wrestlers of Week; Rider's Fisch CAA Rookie of Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Rob Rebmann of Drexel University, and Chris Skretkowicz of Hofstra University, have been named the Colonial Athletic Association Wrestlers of the Week, and Don Fisch of Rider University is the CAA Rookie of the Week, for all competition prior to November 24.    Rebmann, a junior 125 from Pen Argyl, PA (Pen Argyl High), won his weight class at both the Bearcat Open and the Cornell Open, winning all eight of his bouts with three major decisions and a fall.  Rebmann, currently ranked 14th in the nation by InterMat and 17th Amateur Wrestling News, defeated Hofstra's Tom Noto, currently ranked fifth in the nation by Amateur Wrestling News and ninth by InterMat, to win at Cortland. Rebmann also beat Jacob Gray of Edinboro at Cornell.    Skretkowicz, a junior 197 from Hamburg, NJ (Wallkill Valley Regional), won his weight class at both the New York States and the Keystone Classic, winning all nine of his bouts, and has not allowed a point.  Currently ranked second in the nation, Skretkowicz has compiled a pair of falls and six major decisions.    Fisch, a freshman 133 from Williamstown, NJ (Delsea Regional), won four of five bouts at the Keystone Classic to finish third in his collegiate debut.  Fisch was the sixth seed and pinned the fourth seed, Shawn Protz of Penn in 5:47 in the battle for third place.  Fisch lost to the second seed, Rickey La Forge of Hofstra, 10-8 in the semi-finals.
