Free technique clinics by Zadick and Pugh to be held Saturday in Iowa

USA Wrestling and the Iowa Wrestling Federation have organized a pair of wrestling clinics by nationally ranked freestyle wrestling stars in Iowa on Saturday, November 14. The clinics are free for all current USA Wrestling members. Membership cards are available at each clinic. Mike Zadick, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the United States at 60 kg/132 lbs., will be conducting a clinic at Iowa City West High School on Nov. 16 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Zadick will be teach on attacks from the feet. For information, contact Mark Reiland at 319-354-7842. Zadick was a two-time NCAA All-American competing for the Univ. of Iowa. He was second at the 2003 World Team Trials and third at the 2003 U.S. Nationals. Randy Pugh, who is a national contender at 85 kg/185 lbs., will be conducting a clinic at Southeast Polk High School on Nov. 16 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Pugh will be teach takedowns. He placed fourth in the 2002 World Team Trials and was eighth at the 2003 U.S. Nationals.
