Augsburg assitant coach Rettke to be featured on NBC's Fear Factor

Current Augsburg College assistant wrestling coach and former NCAA Division II All-American Ryan Rettke will be featured on Tuesday's episode of Fear Factor, an NBC reality show that asks contestants to perform unusual stunts in order to win prizes and money. Rettke will be one of six contestants working towards the $50,000 grand prize at the end of the show. The show will air Nov. 4 on NBC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Check local listings for channel and times in other time zones. Rettke earned All-American status at Division II Minnesota State-Mankato in 1999 and 2000, placing sixth and third respectively. Following the 2000 season, he was awarded with the Minnesota State-Mankato Male Medal of Honor for the most outstanding male athlete. He was also named to the Dean's List four times during his collegiate career. Rettke graduated from Morris Area High School in Minnesota in 1996, where he was a 1996 state wrestling champion and three-time state tournament qualifier. Earlier this year, Univ. of Minnesota-Morris women's wrestler Katie Ross was also featured on Fear Factor.
