LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Colonial Athletic Association wrestling coaches have announced the 2003-2004 Preseason All-Freshman Team.    Rider University and Sacred Heart University each have three wrestlers on the 10-man squad.  Rider's incoming class of recruits was ranked 14th in the nation by WIN Magazine, 16th by Wrestling USA Magazine, and 19th in the nation by InterMat.  Hofstra University, Drexel University, James Madison University and Wagner College are all represented with one wrestler.    From Rider, 133 Don Fisch, 197 Jeff Black and heavyweight Tyler Rees were named to the team. Fisch was ranked second in the nation by Wrestling USA and fourth in the nation by Amateur Wrestling News after placing fourth at Junior Nationals and twice winning the New Jersey 135 pound State Championship. Black was ranked eighth in the nation, was the 189 pound New Jersey State Champion in 2002 and placed runner-up in 2003. Black won the prestigious Beast of the East Tournament last year, after finishing second as a junior.  Rees was ranked 10th in the nation among heavyweights by InterMat after placing fifth at Junior Nationals.  Rees was a PA State Champion last year and a State runner-up as a junior.     From Sacred Heart, 149 Anthony Hayes, 165 Sherwood Fendryk and 184 Kevin Fox were honored.  Hayes was twice the Connecticut State Open Champion and a Junior National All-American.  Fendryk was a 2003 New York State Champion after placing runner-up in 2002, compiling over 200 scholastic victories.  Fox was the 2003 Prep School National Champion and an All-American at the Cadet Nationals.    Hofstra, which begins the season ranked fourth in the nation by The Wrestling Mall, features Dave Tomasette at 125. Tomasette placed second at the High School Nationals, and won the New Jersey State Championship after twice placing third in NJ.    Drexel is represented by 141 Chris Renninger, who posted a 127-13 record in high school, on his way to a pair of third place finishes in the PA States, and was twice a District Champion.  From Wagner, 157 Joe Esposito makes the All-Freshman team.  Esposito was a New York State qualifier and a Section 11 Champion.  Jason Chalfont of James Madison is the 174 All-Freshman team member.
