The cost for pursuing an Olympic Dream is not cheap, especially in non-revenue sports like wrestling. So, when a wrestler from Pittsburgh looks for help in raising the money that will allow him to train to make the 2004 Olympic games it's important to have a friend with great name recognition. The man Teague Moore has on his side is none other than Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle. This week Moore, ranked third on at 55 kgs, has returned to his wrestling roots of Pittsburgh for two important fundraisers. On October 16th Wright Nissan Automotive Group will host a $200 invitation only fundraiser from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with Kurt Angle. Moore, who has placed as high as second at his weight, is excited about Kurt Angle supporting his dream. "Training in the sport of wrestling is tough enough. It's frustrating when you also have to worry about paying the bills. Having a great wrestler like Kurt show support for me to reach my goals reassures me that I'm on the right path." People interested in attending the fundraiser for Teague Moore are encouraged to visit his website at www.teaguemoore.com or call Renee Henzel at (724) 935-4646. On Saturday, October 18th Teague Moore will host a wrestling clinic at North Allegheny High School from 12:30-3:00 p.m. The suggested donation for wrestlers attending the clinic is $20. Those interested in more information can contact Teague or Mary at (405) 332-3385.
