CRETEIL, FRANCE - Jim Gruenwald has advanced to the quarter final round, despite losing his second pool match.    Laszio Bona of Hungary jumped out to an early lead 4-0 scoring a two-point exposure on a gut wrench attempt by Gruenwald and then turning Gruenwald with a two-point gut wrench.     Gruenwald scored his only point on a caution against Bona for fleeing. However that point turned out to be the difference in pool placing. Bona had earlier lost his pool match to Karen Mnatjakanyan of Armenia 4-0, who Gruenwald beat 6-3 in overtime. Each wrestler in the pool had lost one match, and Gruenwald and Mnatjakanyan both had four classification points. Based on criteria of the head-to-head match, Gruenwald took top placement in the pool.    With the top pool finish, Gruenwald advances to the quarter finals tomorrow morning, where he will face Mohamed Ashraf of Egypt.     T.C. Dantzler returned to the mat following a first round loss defeating Mark Madsen of Denmark 4-0. Dantzler scored his first point when Madsen released his lock from the clinch position, and secured the win with an impressive three-point lift and throw. Dantzler completed his pool competition in second place.    At 96 kilos, Justin Ruiz fell behind quickly to Marek Sitnik of Poland who scored a three-point lift and throw, followed by a 2pt gut wrench in the first minute of the match.
