Dear World Championships volunteer,    Words cannot express my, and USA Wrestling's, sincere appreciation for your efforts over the past several years as they pertain to this past weekend's World Freestyle Championships.  Not only did you again prove that we have the greatest corps of volunteers in America, but on this special occasion, the greatest and most dedicated volunteers on the planet.      The operation of this monumental event was flawless.  USA Wrestling has received countless comments from athletes and delegates from all over the globe, all with one common theme.  That fact is that they believed that this championship was the best managed they have ever attended.  These comments are a direct result of your tireless efforts.  You were challenged to perform and delivered on a level that we are all very proud.    The President of the International Wrestling Federation, Raphy Martinetti, made it clear on several occasions that this was the best World Championships that he had ever attended.  That is an incredible comment coming from an individual that has attended hundreds of Championships in all parts of the World.    I am confident that NYC2012 was well served over the weekend. You helped them prove to the entire world that New York City can successfully host major International Sporting Events.  What a show we gave the wrestling community!    In closing, please accept my heartfelt thank you for helping us again prove that wrestling really is the world's oldest and GREATEST sport.
