Three wrestlers have already clinched first place in their pools and secured spots in the gold-medal finals at the ASICS/Vaughan Junior Greco-Roman Championships in Fargo, N.D., July 21.    As the Cadet division determined its medal matchups for Monday night, the Junior tournament ran a number of key rounds to reduce the field to just a few athletes in each pool. A number of pools are already down to the All-American stage, with just four wrestlers remaining alive.    Three individual athletes have already won their pool competition and secured a spot in Tuesday's gold-medal finals. They are Joe Weygand of Pennsylvania in 98 B; Jake Lewis of Wisconsin in 135 A and Dustin Fox of Ohio at 275 B.    All three returning champions are still alive in their pools, but one has suffered a defeat.    Returning champion Tanner Gardner of Kansas is in the round-robin in Pool 119 B. In the sixth round, he lost a 12-7 match to Javier Maldonado of Florida. Maldonado has also suffered a loss, a pin by Tony Valdez of Nebraska in the seventh round. Gardner may still have a chance to capture the pool, as he will wrestle Valdez in the next round of the roundrobin pool.    Returning champion Cheney Haight of Utah remains unbeaten with seven straight wins at 152 pounds. Every victory was a pin or a technical fall, except for a 6-1 decision over Mike Sabatello of Illinois in round five. Haight still has two more matches in the pool round-robin that he must wrestle if he is to secure a spot in the Tuesday finals.     Returning champion J.D. Bergman of Ohio has crushed all seven of his opponents at 189 pounds. He has ran off five pins and two technical falls in his matches, never going a full bout in the tournament. To secure a spot in Tuesday night's finals, he must defeat Blake Maurer of Indiana in his final round-robin match.
