USA Wrestling has been notified that FOX Sports Net Chicago has decided to re-broadcast the coverage of the 2003 U.S. National Wrestling Championships. A second broadcast of the 90-minute show will be aired on FOX Sports Net Chicago on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 p.m. Central Time. This re-broadcast will also be available on DirecTV for those with the expanded sports coverage service. Fox Sports Net Chicago reaches more than 3.8 million households in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin. The show features selected matches from the U.S. National Wrestling Championships in all three Olympic styles - men's freestyle, women's freestyle and men's Greco-Roman. The competition was originally held in Las Vegas, Nev., May 9-10. The broadcast team for the coverage included play-by-play announcer Larry Nugent, along with Olympic Champion Kendall Cross and veteran sports broadcaster Van Stokes. The broadcast sponsors for the U.S. Nationals show are Body Bar Systems and Real Pro Wrestling The show was originally broadcast on 11 FOX Sports Net Regional stations last weekend, reaching up to 45 million homes. FOX Sports Network's regionals have become leaders in delivering high-energy professional and amateur sports.
