NWCA President Moyer to be panelist at Title IX Symposium in Cambridge, Mass., May 16

Mike Moyer, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Coaches Association will serve as a featured panelist at the Radcliffe Institute's Symposium on the Future of Title IX on Friday, May 16 in Cambridge, MA. The symposium, Sponsored in part by the Linda S. Wilson Fund for Public Policy will be held at the Agassiz House on Radcliffe Yard beginning at 1pm. The Honorable Margaret Marshall, Chief Justice, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court will serve as the moderator. The day's panels bring together scholars, legislative advocates, and those seeking reform to consider the legacy of this landmark sex-discrimination legislation, its fundamental purpose, and current efforts to change the standards used to measure compliance in the world of sports. Other panelist include: Honorable Birch Bayh, Former US Senator (Indiana), Honorable Cardiss Collins, Former US Representative (Illinois), Marcia Greenberger, Founder and Co-president, National Women's Law Center, Jessica Gavora, Speechwriter to US Attorney General John Ashcroft and author of Tilting the Playing Field, Christine Grant, Associate Professor, Sports Administration and Former Women's Athletic Director, University of Iowa.
