The Independent Commission of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) will host a public session from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) Friday, April 25 in the Grand Ballroom (third floor) of the Marriott New York Financial Center, 85 West Street, New York. Created by the USOC at the recommendation of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation to review the USOC's current organization and status, Commission members are Donald M. Fehr (co-chair), Roberta Cooper Ramo (co-chair), Donna de Varona, Dick Ebersol and Harvey Schiller.    Twenty-four witnesses representing a broad cross-section of the Olympic family are scheduled to speak during the session and offer their thoughts on two topics:  * What should be the mission of the USOC?   * How should it be organized and structured to implement that mission?    Each witness will make a brief statement prior to answering the Commission's questions. Chris Campbell was a 1992 Olympic bronze medalist in freestyle wrestling. Both athletes qualified for the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team that was unable to participate in the Moscow Olympics due to the U.S. boycott.    The April 25 session will be open to the public, with seating provided on an as-available basis.
