In an effort to provide wrestling fans with an even more comprehensive source for news and information, TheMat.com has kicked off a campaign to identify and post links to every other wrestling site on the Web. TheMat.com will be sending requests to the Webmasters of nearly every legitimate wrestling site asking permission to create a link from TheMat.com. This list of links will then be organized in an efficient way, so visitors to TheMat.com can find Web pages that match their interest in the sport. It will include everything from club and state Web pages to athlete pages and international pages. This new feature will not only drive more traffic to the partner sites, it will also give wrestling enthusiasts a quick and easy way to keep up with wrestling on the international, national and local levels without having to search endlessly. "USA Wrestling is very excited about this campaign, as we are continually working to bring the most complete and up-to-date information to wrestling fans everywhere. These links will help visitors to our site find everything they are looking for within the wrestling world," said USA Wrestling Director of Information Technology Meredith Wilson. Once this project is complete, TheMat.com will serve as the central access point for news and information for the entire wrestling community. This initiative benefits all wrestling Web sites involved and will help the sport of wrestling grow. If you know of a wrestling Web site you would like to see linked from TheMat.com, please e-mail Webmaster@themat.com. We will make every effort to see that it is accessible from TheMat.com, the ultimate source for real wrestling.
