Wrestling insiders know the prestige of the 19th Annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational (Dec. 1-2)--with many of its champions eventually reaching the NCAA finals the same year. With a 2-0 dual record, Lehigh will make its 1st visit to Nevada since Dec. '94 and its fifth-ever. One thing is certain: with 46 Top 10 wrestlers entered in 10 weights (a min. of 3 -- at 149-- and a max 6 at 125 and 197), every ranked entry is guaranteed at least one major test. Three former NCAA champs will wrestle-- Stephen Abas, 125, Fresno St; Kirk White, now at 157, Boise St; and Brad Vering, Nebraska, 197, plus two top-ranked wrestlers--Adam Tirapelle, 149, Illinois and Otto Olson, 174, Michigan.
