The Dave Schultz Wrestling Foundation is seeking a full time Executive Director. This is a tremendous opportunity for qualified candidates in a growth-oriented, upper level directive position. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Foundation (DSWF) oversees the activities of the Dave Schultz Wrestling Club, a top international wrestling club. "The DSWF has been very successful in the past seven years, and we are excited to continue our growth and expansion," said Nancy Schultz, President of the DSWF. "I expect the responsibilities fulfilled by the new Executive Director will enable us to reach the next levels in grass roots, national and international wrestling competition." Candidates who would like to apply for the Executive Director position require fundraising and management experience. The Executive Director will be responsible for: donor development, administration, travel management, affiliate site management, computer experience, day to day operations, reporting to CEO and board members and special projects. Candidates must be independent self-starters, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have the ability to multi-task. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Foundation was formed in 1996, to honor the late Dave Schultz, a World and Olympic champion and ambassador of international goodwill. The DSWF has been a leader in the development of wrestling in the United States and the world. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Club has featured many international wrestling stars, including Olympic champions Kurt Angle and Brandon Slay and World Champions Stephen Neal and Sandra Bacher. Athletes from the Dave Schultz Wrestling Club compete in all three international styles: men's freestyle, women's freestyle and men's Greco-Roman. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Club has affiliate training sites at a number of major U.S. colleges, and supports athletes in locations across the nation. The club includes both age-group and Senior level wrestlers, and has won national titles in all three styles. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Foundation has also played a key role in the development of the Dave Schultz Memorial International Tournament, a major Senior-level competition in all three styles that features many of the world's best athletes. The Dave Schultz Wrestling Foundation will be accepting resumes via mail at PO Box 4418, Foster City, CA 94404 or via email at dswf@attbi.com through April 30, 2003. Desired start date is August 1, 2003.
