Iowa City, IA -- Three years after its initial launch, DanGable.com is getting a new look. The site has been updated and includes user-friendly features that offer greater access to online information and services designed for the wrestler, coach, athlete and professional. Originally launched in 2000, DanGable.com serves as a news and information provider whose principle mission is to inform enthusiasts on issues in wrestling, fitness, health, training, and other topics concerning the world of sports. "Like all things in life, it is important to me to stay current," Gable says. "Revamping the website allows a better avenue to communicate and be more active in promoting my own philosophies on sports and life, even beyond what I have done before." As part of the relaunch, new features have been added to the site including a frequently updated section devoted to tips on wrestling, coaching and training that come directly from Gable. Visitors can also learn how Gable can better their businesses through scheduled corporate speaking engagements. At these appearances, Gable relates his life experiences and gives his formula for success which his listeners can apply in their careers and everyday lives. The new site provides a platform for Gable to speak on topics he is passionate about including Title IX, the International Olympic Committee, and safety and weight regulations. Subscribers of the all-new free Dan Gable Newsletter will, at select times throughout the year, receive the publication directly in their e-mail inbox. All issues will feature exclusive interviews with important athletes in amateur wrestling as well as tips and ideas from Gable. Subscribers will also gain special access to discounts on products sold in the updated Gable Store. "There hasn't been a more important time than now, concerning the future of the sport of wrestling," Gable says. "This has pushed me to do new things and think about how to address crucial issues and make things current." Currently, The Gable Store is running a special offer allowing its customers the chance to pre-order Gable's newest videos Gable's Advanced Wrestling: On the Feet and Gable's Advanced Wrestling: On the Mat to be released in April.
