I've got turn these guys to win. I haven't wrestled Rivas in a few years. I am excited. He's so experienced."    Jim Gruenwald  "I think ultimately God was with me in that match. The two previous times he controlled me and beat me badly. If that's not God at work, what is? I won the scrambles. He's hard to wrestle. He snaps down so well. I couldn't wrestle him with my typical stick and move style. He is probably the most dangerous guy in the world for me."    Kevin Bracken  "I've wrestled Darnell (Lollis) many times. He's an excellent athlete. It is exciting to beat him and make the finals. I wrestled my best holds in the semifinals. Darnell is an excellent athletes. I took advantage of his 'out of positions.' I've been sick a little bit this week. Every day, I try to feel better and better. It will be a good battle in the finals."    FREESTYLE    Sammie Henson   "I got a slow start. I had to get my feet moving. I started going more for his wrist. I knew all he had was an armthrow. I went fully back to my game plan. This is as far as I've wrestled in a long time."    Jared Frayer  "If they want to wrestle me up there, that's what I'll look for. I'll do that to him if he underhooks me all day. When it was there, it was all or nothing. Nothing has happened yet. I have a big match with Schwab. We are starting to become rivals now."    Joe Heskett  "This is a part of wrestling. I go out and try everything, no matter who it is. A win is a win. It is just preparation for more important things. I'll see him again. We have a lot of good guys in our half of the tournament, some good Europeans and some good Americans. It has been a good road so far. Just one more match."    Brandon Eggum  "I went out and scored early. I guess I am disappointed with the match. I shut down after the four-point lead. I just protected the lead. I am a little unhappy with the way I wrestled. A win is a win, but I am not happy. I could have scored more in some opportunities. I have wrestled (Yoel) Romero one time at the Pan Ams and was beat in the finals. It is good to wrestle him. He's real explosive."    Tim Hartung   "I was thinking too much about what he was doing. I knew he was explosive. I felt the only way I'd lose was if I got way behind. I didn't agree with the first points called. I felt comfortable as long as it was close. I was waiting for my chance to be on top."    WOMEN    Patricia Miranda  "I am super excited about wrestling Miyu. When you are wrestling any good opponent, you can take it as a threat or challenge. I find it as a very good tool to explore my potential."    Jenny Wong  "I felt pretty good. I've wrestled (finals opponent) Ida many times. I know she tries to do a dump from holding the arm. She puts her head right in there. I have to know what to do from that position. I know that is where she will be."    Tina Wilson  "I wasn't ready this morning. I had to go back to my basics, to hold my position well until I felt better. I came out cold. I wasn't on like I was yesterday. It will be a battle in the finals. I must figure something else out to win it."    Lauren Lamb  "I felt pretty good, after a couple of days adjusting to the altitude. We both (she and Malissa Sherwood) wrestled a long time, but we never met in a match. It feels good to win."    Kristie Marano  "I am pleased. I wrestled sweet. I felt I controlled the match."    Sara McMann  "This is why I am wrestling good. I'm talking to God more and asking him for patience. Even if I lose, I know I am doing my best. All glory to Him. I have been beaten by her twice. Obviously I can't do it alone. In the finals, it will be one more tough match after a tournament of tough matches."    Toccara Montgomery  "I felt pretty good. The altitude got to me at the end. Other than that, it was a good match. Last week, I wasn't at my best. I wrestled a decent opponent (Samantha Lang). Any time you face a good opponent, you might lose. It is always good to wrestle good competition."    Samantha Lang  "That's what I came to this tournament for. I lost to (Nordhagen) last week. I watched tapes, worked hard and came back ready. I wasn't 100% happy with my match. There is always something you can do better. Against Toccara, I will go out and wrestle my match. That's all I can do."
