Minnesota Golden Gophers two-time All-America wrestler Damion Hahn has been reinstated from a disputed academic suspension while an appeal of a failing grade is resolved. He will return to competition Friday at Penn State. Hahn has been disputing the grade on a fitness paper since November. Hahn missed last Saturday's match against Michigan State because of the suspension. The university then determined it shouldn't have suspended Hahn during his appeal. The timetable for Hahn's appeal is uncertain. The Big Ten Championships are March 8-9 and the NCAA Championships are March 20-22. Hahn, who now wrestles at 197 pounds, finished fifth at 184 pounds in each of the past two NCAA Championships. He won a Big Ten title in 2002.
