Gardner was stranded overnight in freezing temperatures in the Wyoming mountains, and suffered frostbite, ultimately losing a toe to amputation. The grapplers provided first hand tips in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling techniques at the Independence High School clinic. The duo will return for the Titan Games on Feb. 13-15, 2003.
