Indianapolis, Indiana Silver Level Coaches College June 16-22, 2003 In Conjunction with the World Team Trials! The Silver Level Coaches College will be filled with wrestling related classroom and mat instruction from USA Wrestling's most prominent coaches and wrestlers. In addition, every coach will enjoy the excitement of the Senior World Team Trials with an all-session pass. This spectacular opportunity will bring you closer to the sport of wrestling as you meet the heroes and legends of USA Wrestling. As part of the great week of wrestling instruction Olympian Shawn Sheldon and World Class Athlete Program Coach Mike Van Arsdale will serve as the Coaches Liaisons for the week. Van Arsdale and Sheldon will be available all week for the coaches to learn from and get to know. Coaches will also be excited with the Coaches College accommodations. Coaches will not be housed in a hot dormitory; instead, coaches will stay in a comfortable hotel setting during the entire week. The Silver Level Coaches College is open to all Bronze Certified coaches. Coaches from grassroots youth programs to college and elite level coaches will be in attendance. A Bronze Course will be offered on the day before the start of the Silver College. Coaches that complete that course can then take part in the Silver College activities. Included for coaches in this valuable week of wrestling: *All-Session Pass to the World Team Trials *Coaches College Shirt *Instruction from World and Olympic Champions *Technical Instruction focusing on three wrestling styles: Scholastic, Freestyle, Greco-Roman wrestling *A comfortable hotel setting *Motivational Speeches *Classroom instruction *Coaches social The World Team Trials Silver Level Coaches College is the most popular coaches event that USA Wrestling hosts each year. The College will fill up quickly. Space is extremely limited. Only 50 coaches will be admitted as residents for this college.
