NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma wrestling team lost the Bedlam dual to Oklahoma State, 23-16, in front of 3,110 at the Lloyd Noble Center Sunday night. Oklahoma won four of the first five matches, before the Cowboys began their comeback in the final five matches of the dual. This brings the Bedlam series record to 112-24-9 in favor of Oklahoma State.     "We had some guys that performed and executed well tonight, but we just got out wrestled in a couple of weights," said assistant head coach Barry Weldon, who filled in for an ill Jack Spates. "It was frusterating to lose the lead that we had, but we started out with out stronger weights and just couldn't hold on to it."    Oklahoma began the match with a decision by senior All-American Josh Lambrecht over redshirt freshman Jake Rosholt. Lambrecht, who is the top-ranked wrestler in the country at 184 pounds, improved his record this season to 8-0.     Oklahoma's returning All-American Leonce Crump recorded a fall at 1:22 over Willie Gruenwald in the heavyweight category. Crump remained undefeated with tonight's win and currently has a 10-0 season record.    Senior Tom Grossman lost the 197 pounds battle to OSU's top-ranked Muhammed Lawal by a 3-1 decision. Grossman, who has a record of 11-2, managed to hold Lawal scoreless in the first period.       Senior Bo Maynes added to the Sooner's score with major decision over Oklahoma State's Derek Stevens at 125 pounds, 10-1. Maynes held Stevens scoreless until the final period, when Stevens scored on an escape. Oklahoma's Witt Durden scored the Sooner's last match win of the evening at 133 pounds by decision over Cody Stites, 9-3.    Oklahoma rounded out the match by giving up the final five weight classes of the evening. All-American Nate Parker lost the 141 weight to OSU freshman Zack Esposito by fall at 3:40. Redshirt freshman Beau DeArmon (149 pounds) fell by major decision to No. 5/7 Jerrod Sanders, 12-5, while junior Rafael Maturino also lost by major decision to No. 2/3 Shane Roller, 10-2, at 175 pounds. Oklahoma also lost the 165 pound weight class by major decision as sophomore Wes Roberts fell to second-ranked Tyrone Lewis, 13-4. The dual ended with the 174 pound weight class as No. 2/6 Robbie Waller was decisioned, 9-4, by third ranked Chris Pendleton.    The Sooners next take on North Carolina State at noon on January 2, at Westmoore High School.
