The Maryland State Wrestling Association has announced their 2003 winter clinic schedule. This year's schedule includes eight clinics that will be held throughout the state of Maryland and one in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C.    The clinic series will also include some of the top names in the sport of amateur wrestling.    The first clinic will take place Dec. 1 at The Comcast Center in College Park, Md. on the campus of the Univ. of Maryland. The clinician will be Univ. of Maryland assistant coach Tom Miller.    Clinics will take place every weekend thereafter except for Dec. 29. The final clinic will take place at River Hill Senior High School in Columbia, Md. The clinician will be Jay Antonelli of Quantico, Va. Antonelli is the head coach of the U.S. Marine Corps and has coached several U.S. World and Olympic teams and athletes.    Also included in the clinic series will be 2000 Olympic head coach and current coach at the U.S. Naval Academy Bruce Burnett, new American Univ. head coach Mark Cody and former Olympic silver medalist Lloyd Keaser.    "This series of clinics was started to bring more instruction to kids of all ages from some of the top wrestlers and coaches in the U.S.," stated Haswell Franklin, USA Wrestling state representative for Maryland. "We feel that this is one of the most complete clinic series in the U.S. and we are excited to host a great series this year."    The cost of each clinic is $23, which can be paid at the door.
