Due to unforeseen circumstances and scheduling conflicts, the General Membership Meeting of Colorado USA Wrestling could not be held until November. The meeting is now scheduled for November 19th in Colorado Springs. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the General Meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Colorado Springs Hotel, 2886 South Circle Drive at I-25.    This Year the following positions are up for election: Kid's Director, Mat  Officials Director, Treasurer and Women's Director. Nominations will also be taken to fill the four Member-At-Large positions to be appointed by the board. Each attending registered club can get two votes and each attending registered official (pairings and mat) get a vote. We hope you will participate in this important election. Attendance is mandatory for voting. Special group room rates are available for Saturday night at the Sheraton Colorado Spring Hotel by calling (719) 576-5900 by November 4th. Please identify yourself as a member of Colorado USA Wrestling to receive this special rate. Each guest is responsible for costs as well as all incidentals (credit card or cash deposit).    Attached you will find a 'Tentative 2001 Schedule' to help you with the planning of your tournament. We have filled in the State Tournaments on which dates there will not be another local tournament scheduled. We have also given you the dates of other important tournaments so you will know what you may be competing against. Please select the top three dates on which you would like to conduct your tournament. Again this year Colorado USA Wrestling is requiring that at the time of sanctioning your tournament, you must designate who your Head Mat Official and Head pairing Official will be. This must be included on the form. Please verify with that official before giving their name as Head Official.     Please mail your tournament selection dates to CUSAW, 3355 N. Academy Blvd. #324, Colorado Springs, CO 80917 by November 15th. The completed schedule will be distributed at the General Membership Meeting on November 19th.
