Moscow, Russia - Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) has earned his way into the gold medal finals at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. at the 2002 Greco-Roman World Championships in Moscow, Russia. Byers, wrestling in his first World Championships since 1999, defeated Xenofon Koutsioubas (Greece) by a 4-1 margin to advance. "This feels great. I have put a lot of hard work into this, and so have the coaches here," said Byers after his dramatic victory.
