Nine wrestlers vie for Triple Crown honors at 2002 Kids National Championships in Enid, Okla.

 Complete Tournament Results  Greco-Roman Photos      ENID, OK - The 2002 Greco-Roman Kids National Championships wrapped up Thursday, July 4, with 9 wrestlers vying for Triple Crown bragging rights, two of whom are looking to capture their second and third triple crown. The Triple Crown award is given to wrestlers who capture National Championship titles in all three style, Folkstyle, Greco-Roman, and Freestyle, in the same year. The 2002 Folkstyle National Championships were held in April in Topeka, Kansas.     In the Midget Division, Daniel Deshazer (Wichita, Kansas) captured the 55-pound Greco-Roman National Championship, he also won the 55-pound division in the 2002 Folkstyle National Championship in Topeka, Kan. earlier this year. Blake Sorensen (Cedar Falls, Iowa) has captured Greco-Roman and Folkstyle National Championships in the 70-pound weight class. At 95 pounds, Zachary Skates (Broken Arrow, Oklahoma) won the Greco-Roman title, he also took the gold in the 87-pound Folkstyle Championships.    In the Novice Division, Riley Ewalt (Hubbardston, Michigan) captured national titles at 70 pounds in both the Greco-Roman and Folkstyle and Andrew Wilson earned gold in Greco and folkstyle at 130 pounds. Two other Novice wrestlers looking for Triple Crown honors include Riley Adamson (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who is looking for his third consecutive Triple Crown. Adamson took top honors this year at 80 pounds in Greco-Roman, as well as 75 pounds in Folkstyle. Adamson won Triple Crowns in 2000 in the 65-pound Midget Division and in 2001 in the 75-pound Novice Division. Atticus Disney (Andover, Kansas) also is in search of a second Triple Crown. He captured gold at 152-170 pounds in Greco-Roman and 140 pounds in Folkstyle. Disney won his other Triple Crown in the 120-pound Midget Division in 2000.    In the Schoolboy Division, Collin Dozier (Virginia Beach, Virginia) won the 95-pound division in Greco-Roman and the 90-pound Folkstyle title, while Matt Panasevich (Svsq, Pennsylvania) took the gold in 160+-pounds Greco-Roman and the 160-pound title Folkstyle.    Riley Adamson (Albuquerque, New Mexico), in addition to looking for his third Triple Crown, as secured back-to-back Greco-Roman National Championships. Adamson won gold in the 2002 Greco Championships at 80 pounds Novice and in 2001 at 75 pounds Novice.  Dylan Ness (Bloomington, Minnesota) also earned back-to-back Greco championships with his win today in the 60-pound Midgets and his 2001 at 55-pounds Midget.    A total of 388 wrestlers participated in the 2002 Greco-Roman Kids National Championships. The top six place winners in each division and weight class are listed below.
