We expect John Fuller to have a major impact on the sport and the organization in his new position." "John has been essential to InterMat's overall growth the past two and half years, " said InterMat's founder and owner Tom Owens. "He wasn't afraid to bring all wrestling-related issues to the forefront, even if they were not popular issues. We feel it is critical for us as a wrestling media resource to bring all issues to the wrestling community and John did a great job of this." "I am excited to be taking a step in a different direction with USAWrestling, " said Fuller. " I have been fortunate to stay within the sport of amateur wrestling throughout my career and I hope my addition can in some way help this sport grow on a national and international level. I am thankful to InterMat and Tom Owens for giving me the opportunity to showcase my writing and editorial abilities. I feel this is the right time for me to move forward in my career and to help expose a new generation of media and sports fans to amateur wrestling." With InterMat Wrestling, Fuller managed the daily maintenence of the web page, as well as developing its coverage of wrestling on all levels, including youth, high school, college and international. Since November, 2001, Fuller served as a co-host of "Takedown Radio," an all-amateur wrestling show that was produced each Saturday.
