USA defeats Korea, 17-11 at the annual Two Worlds - One Mat dual wrestling meet in Sioux City, Iowa

SIOUX CITY, IA - The United States won four of the seven matches to defeat Korea, 17-11 at the annual Two Worlds - One Mat dual wrestling meet in Sioux City, Iowa, on Tuesday, April 9.    Claiming victories for the United States were Eric Juergens (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 132 pounds, Casey Cunningham (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 163 pounds, Tolly Thompson (Lincoln, Neb./Sunkist Kids) at 264.5 pounds and Chad Lamer (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 211.5 pounds.    Cunningham and Thompson scored technical falls, helping increase the U.S. margin of victory. Cunningham beat Choi Kwon-Sub, 13-2, while Thompson handled Jung Chun-Mo, 10-0.    Korean 185-pounder Moon Eui-Jae did not wrestle due to injury. 211.5 pounder Kang Dong-Guk wrestled two matches for Korea, losing to Lamer and defeating Randy Pugh.    The attendance for this year's event was 1,300 spectators.
