USA Wrestling will present a series of National Greco-Roman clinics at 10 major USA Wrestling age-group events in 2002. The theme of this year's Greco-Roman clinics is "The Year of Par Terre." (For those who don't know French, par terre means on the ground "mat wrestling") Each of the clinics will be between 30-45 minutes. Covered in these special clinics will be the newest in Greco-Roman Par Terre Defense and Par Terre Offense. There is no cost to attend any of the clinics. Competitors, coaches and non-competitors are invited to participate. All people interested in learning more about Greco-Roman wrestling are encouraged to attend. The instructors are among the best in the world. They feature the USA Wrestling Greco-Roman Coaching Staff and additional clinicians from USA Wrestling National Coaches Pool, 2002 Greco-Roman National Team Members and/or 2002 World Team Members. For more information on the Greco-Roman Technique Clinic Series, contact USA Wrestling National Development Coach Isaac Anderson or National Greco-Roman Coach Steve Fraser at (719) 598-8181.
