COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT JOB POSTING    USA Wrestling,  the national governing body for amateur wrestling in the United States, seeks a Communications Assistant. This individual will work on media relations and communications projects for a variety of events and activities. The employee will work in the Communications/Development Department and will report to the Director of Communications and Special Projects.    The individual must have strong communications skills, including writing, editing, publication design and verbal communications. The position includes editorial duties with USA Wrestling publications and web pages, as well event promotions, sports information, photography management and media relations duties. The individual will be expected to travel to USA Wrestling events and activities.    A bachelor's degree is required, with study in communications, journalism, broadcasting or related fields. Professional experience with publications or sports information is required, as well as computer and internet skills. Background in wrestling is not required, but is a plus.
