Old Dominion's Rusak, George Mason's Becker CAA Wrestlers of Week; GMU's Smith Rookie of Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ--Senior Jeff Rusak of Old Dominion University, and sophomore Rob Becker of George Mason University, have been named the Colonial Athletic Association Wrestlers of the Week, and freshman Brian Smith of George Mason has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week, for all competition February 26-March 4.    Rusak (Reading, PA/Muhlenberg) won his only bout last week by fall, pinning George Mason's P.J. Ross, to improve to 30-0 on the season, and finish his dual meet career 54-0.  Currently ranked among the top five 174s in the nation, Rusak enters the CAA Championships with 16 pins this season.    Becker (Mickleton, NJ/Clearview Regional) won his only bout last week by fall, pinning ODU's Mark Clark in 2:47 to improve to 21-6 on the season.  Ranked second in the CAA among 141s, Becker enters the CAA Championships having won 11 of his last 13 matches, including four pins and two tech. falls in his last nine wins.    Smith (Sterling, VA/Broad Run) won his only match of last week by fall, pinning ODU's Casey Todd to improve to 5-0 in duals, 13-7 overall.  Six of his 13 wins have come by fall this season.
