The University of Minnesota Athletics Ticket Office has announced a special half-price ticket offer for this weekend1s wrestling meet and women's basketball game. On Sunday, Feb. 24, any individual with a wrestling ticket can purchase a ticket for the women1s basketball game versus Michigan State at half-price. In turn, any fan with a ticket stub from the basketball game can purchase a half-price ticket for the wrestling meet versus Ohio State. This offer is only available for purchase of tickets on Sunday. Fans must already have a wrestling ticket in hand in order to receive the half-priced women's basketball ticket. The women's basketball game begins at noon at Williams Arena while the wrestling meet starts at 2 p.m. at the Sports Pavilion. Full-price adult tickets are $6 for women's basketball and $9 for wrestling (both general admission). It's the final competition of the season and Senior Day for both events. The 14th-ranked women's basketball team has two seniors - 6-7 center Kim Bell and 5-7 guard Jenny MacKay. Three seniors on the top-ranked wrestling team will be competing in their final dual meet - Leroy Vega, Chad Erikson and Owen Elzen.
