Most of the nation's top Division I and II teams will be in Columbus, Ohio, this weekend for the National Duals, but a number of top teams will be competing at other venues. Ninth-ranked Missouri (11-0), one of the nation's surprise teams, is scheduled to wrestle at Wyoming on Friday night. The Tigers won the Virginia Duals last weekend. No. 12 West Virginia will face No. 22 Nebraska on Sunday at home. The Huskers had competed at the National Duals every year until this year. Nebraska also will wrestle Bloomsburg on Sunday in Morgantown, W.Va. Nebraska likely will be without freshman Justin Ruiz at 197. Ruiz, a Mormon, cannot compete on Sundays. Ruiz is ranked eighth. In Division II, No. 6 Minnesota State-Mankato is slated to wrestle twice at home. The Mavericks will face Minnesota State-Moorhead on Friday before meeting Northern State on Saturday. No. 8 Nebraska-Kearney (5-0), off to its best start since 1994, is scheduled to face Truman State on Friday night in Kearney. The Lopers are coming off a 24-12 win over Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rival and 12th-ranked Chadron State (Neb.) on Saturday night.
