2001 New York AC Christmas Open set for Dec. 15-16 in New York City

2001 New York AC Christmas Tournament to be held Dec. 15-16 in New York City     A strong field of many top freestyle, Greco-Roman and women wrestlers in the World are expected to compete at the annual New York AC Christmas Tournament, held in New York City, Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 16. This marks the second year that all three styles of wrestling will be held at the same time during the tournament.  The competition will feature some Olympians and U.S. National Team Members.     Those athletes which indicated they may compete in Greco-Roman are: 2000 Olympian and 2001 World Team member Kevin Bracken (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) at 138.75 pounds, 2001 Greco-Roman National Team Members Ethan Bosch (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) at 187.25 pounds and T.C. Dantzler (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) at 167.5 pounds.      Greco-Roman U.S. Olympic Training Center resident athletes expected to compete include: Mike Ellsworth (Colorado Springs, Colo./Michigan WC) at 152 pounds, John Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) at 187.25 pounds, James Meyer (Colorado Springs, Colo./Unattached) at 187.25 pounds, Aaron Sieracki (Colorado Spring, Colo./U.S. Air Force) at 187.25 pounds and Matt Lamb (Colorado Springs, Colo./Unattached) at 286 pounds.     Four U.S. Olympic Training Center freestyle resident athletes who are expected to compete, they include: Mike Eierman (Colorado Springs, Colo./Team Excel) at 138.75 pounds, Ty Reynolds (Colorado Springs, Colo./unattached) at 138.75 pounds, C.C. Fisher (Colorado Springs, Colo./NYAC) at 127.75 pounds and Aaron Simpson(Colorado Springs, Colo./Dave Schultz WC) at 187.25 pounds.
