As of December 12, USA Wrestling has surpassed the 250 mark for new Founding Partner members, and has set a goal of 400 Founding Partners by the end of the month.    Those who join USA Wrestling as a Partner by the end of the 2001 calendar year will be recognized forever as a Founding Partner. A list of Founding Partner members is now posted on the internet on USAWrestling.org, and will also be listed in a special section of the next issue of USA Wrestler.    USA Wrestling created this new membership program to encourage individuals who enjoy wrestling to stay involved and active in the sport, year after year. So far, more than 250 wrestling people from across the nation have joined as Partners and helped the program to a strong start.    A holiday season campaign is on for people to join up for the Partner program. USA Wrestling staff and supporters are encouraging those who care about wrestling to join up today and get on the list!    The deadline for becoming a Founding member of the new USA Wrestling Partner program is Monday, December 31, 2001.     "It would be great if we could announce a 'Founding 400' Partners going into the new year," said Rich Bender, USA Wrestling's Executive Director. "USA Wrestling is blessed with so many people who care about the sport and want to make a difference. We encourage everybody to join our team and become a USA Wrestling Partner today."    You can become a Partner by going to the online membership form on USAWrestling.org or TheMat.com, or by filling out a Partner membership form published in each issue of USA Wrestler magazine.    Each Partner receives a membership card, a year subscription to USA Wrestler, a Partner gift, a discount on USA Wrestling merchandise, access to the USA Wrestling Member-only web site, and a decal. More importantly, they have an opportunity to support the sport that they love. Dues is just $30.    Partners are from all levels of wrestling, all who share an interest in wrestling and wish to stay involved and support the sport. Every Partner has a personal involvement in the sport, or a desire to help build wrestling.
