Kevin Carr, Central Michigan (164lb., So., Warsaw, Ind.) won The Citadel Invitational title at 164 with a 4- 0 record and one fall. He won his match against Michigan State, defeating two-time junior college champion Anton Hall by a score of 7-4. Carr is now undefeated this season with a record of 8-0 and one fall. Other Nominees Kyle Cerminara, Buffalo (197lb., Fr., Lewiston, N.Y.) came within one win from placing in the Top Eight at 197 pounds in the prestigious Cliff Keen Invitational. He defeated Wynn Fangmeier (Dana College) by technical fall at 4:55, Nick Richmond (North Carolina) by major decision (13-3), and Titus Folden (Pacific) by technical fall at 6:00 at the tournament. He also leads the Bulls with two dual meet reversals. Cerminara has a 2-0 MAC record and is 11-4 overall. Derreck Keasley, Eastern Michigan (157lb., So., Ferndale, Mich.) went 4-2 at the Penn State open, finishing in sixth place. Mike Tolar, Kent State (157lb., So., Parma, Ohio) went 3-0 at The Citadel Duals this past weekend. Tolar had a 16-3 major decision over Josh Mau of The Citadel and pinned Louis DeMarco of Gardner-Webb in 2:52. He also defeated Quentin Bell of Chattanooga 7-4. This season, Tolar is 12-2 with four falls and is ranked 17th at 157 pounds in the latest Intermat poll. Scott Owen, Northern Illinois (157lb., Sr., Carlsbad, N.M.) is now 13-0 overall and 2-0 MAC. He has four pins and two technical falls.
