Bronze Certification Course  Through USA Wrestling's   National Coaches Education Program  Friday, December 28th from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.  Mesquite Rodeo Arena  site of the 17th Annual Cotton Bowl Classic Tournament    Contact Ted Witulski, NCEP Manager for more information on the Bronze course by email at twitulski@usawrestling.org or call (719) 598-8181.      Ted Witulski, National Coaches Education Program Manager, will instruct the Bronze course.  Texas has shown dramatic growth in amateur wrestling.  A goal of the Texas USA Wrestling organization is to dramatically increase the number of Copper and Bronze certified coaches in the state.  One participant in the Bronze course will win a set of autographed posters from the 2000 Olympic team. Please join the active members of USA Wrestling by attending this Bronze clinic at the largest youth tournament in the state of Texas    USA Wrestling's Coaches Education Program is designed to give coaches a foundation of successful coaching principles to help grow the base of amateur wrestling throughout the country. The National Coaches Education Program (NCEP) certified over 1,100 coaches nationally last year at the Bronze Level.      NCEP certification is required by USA Wrestling, the National Governing Body of Amateur wrestling, for coaches to participate in state, regional, national, and international events.  If you're an active wrestling coach, you need to get NCEP certified!    By completing the certification process at the Bronze Level, you will receive the Bronze Certified Card, and Certificate allowing you to coach at USA Wrestling events across the country.  Also, you will receive for future reference the Coach's Guide to Excellence, a $30 value.  Finally, as an added bonus for completing the Bronze level, you will receive the official Bronze Certified Coach's shirt, a $25 value.      Coaches who are Bronze certified are leaders in the wrestling community and are then encouraged to pursue further education through NCEP by completing the Silver and Gold levels.  Once, a coach is Bronze certified he/she can attend the National Coaches Colleges held annually.  The Coaches College is a five-day intensive study of the sport of wrestling.      This past year six coaches completed their Silver Certification and three achieved Gold Level Certification.  Active development of wrestling coaches is the overall priority for the National Coaches Education Program.  Please attend a Bronze Clinic in your area and join the growing ranks of USA Wrestling.      A $50 payment by cash or check will be required at registration for the Bronze Level Course.  (Without a Coaches Card the cost is $75.)
