University of Minnesota junior wrestler Luke Becker has been named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week, following his impressive performances last week at the Northern Open and versus No. 21 Boise State. Becker, currently ranked third in the nation at 157 pounds, recorded four pins and a technical fall in his five matches last week as the top-ranked Golden Gophers defeated BSU, 42-0, and won all 10 titles at the Northern Open    A native of Cambridge, Minn., Becker won the 157-pound title at the Northern Open, notching an 18-2 technical fall against Wisconsin's Adam Turner in the championship match. A two-time All-American, Becker pinned Boise State's Mitch Morgan in just 1:33 to help lead the Golden Gophers to the win over the Broncos. He is now 8-0 overall with six pins on the season.
