With the 2001-2002 wrestling season gearing up, TheMat.com has updated its women's wrestling tournament schedule on its women's wrestling page.    TheMat.com is working to become the ultimate source for women's wrestling, with information on female wrestling tournaments and opportunities on all age levels.    The most updated USA Wrestling national and regional events for women and girls has been posted, including the major national-level tournaments on the Senior and age-group levels.    In addition, TheMat.com will post information on any women's wrestling event, regardless of affiliation, that is open for athletes to enter. This is a service to all event directors who are working to provide competition opportunities for female wrestlers and seek to attract participants. Closed events, such as dual meets and invitationals, will not be posted in this section.
