Builiding on the success of the free Terry Brands clinic hosted in Hartford, CT on Sunday, October 14th Bruce Baumgartner will host a second free clinic to USA Wrestling members.  The clinic will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will be free to members who possess the 2001-2002 USA Wrestling Membership Card.  This will be the second USA Wrestling clinic out of a series of five scheduled through the fall and winter for members of the National Governing Body of amateur wrestling.    Bruce Baumgartner is the acting President of USA Wrestling and is America's most decorated amateur wrestler.  Baumgartner won the Olympics in 1984 in Los Angeles and again in 1992 in Barcelona.  In the 1996 Olympics, Baumgartner served as the U.S. flagbearer for the Opening Ceremonies.  He holds a host of U.S. wrestling records, including the most Senior National titles (17), most Olympic medals (4), most World medals (9), most World Cup gold medals (8), most Pan American medals (4).      The state of Connecticut hosted its' first clinic with Terry Brands on September 23rd.  The clinic was highly attended with over 200 coaches and wrestlers personally learning the wrestling skills and intensity that helped make Terry Brands a two time World Champion.      Connecticut is actively building its membership in USA Wrestling by bringing America's real wrestling heroes to the state to share the wrestling skills and personal values that made them champions.  Mike Quibble, organizer of the clinics, sees these opportunities as a great added value to being a USA Wrestling members.  "The wrestlers and coaches here in Connecticut have a great reason to become a member of USA Wrestling with this set of clinics.  People who came to the Brands clinic got a firsthand look at the value a membership in USA Wrestling provides", stated Quibble.
