NCEP Bronze Certification  Offered with   The Terry Brands Tour   In Connecticut    USA Wrestling Connecticut will provide a Bronze Certification class on September 23rd at Hall High School in West Hartford from 9:00 a.m. to Noon just before the Free Terry Brands Clinic. Professional Advancement  Active Participation with National Governing Body of Amateur Wrestling  Liability and Risk Management  Certification at USAW Sanctioned Events  Active Involvement with State USAW Organization    Topics Covered;    Philosophy of Coaching, Risk Management, Effective Teaching  Program Development  Psychology of Coaching  Developing Wrestling Skills  Training & Nutrition  Sports Medicine    Cost:  All participants must purchase the book to become certified  $20.00 - Tuition Fees  $30.00 - Book  $50.00 - Total cost for the Clinic    In order to coach at USA Wrestling regional and national events coaches must be certified through the National Coaches Education Program.  Coaches that successfully complete the Bronze level will receive the NCEP Certified Card, Certificate, and Coach's Shirt.  Coaches can then pursue certification at the Silver and Gold level.      In order to grow the sport of amateur wrestling USA Wrestling encourages all coaches to become NCEP certified.  Gain a greater understanding of the National Governing Body of amateur wrestling, by attending a NCEP Coaches Clinic in your area.
