SWEDEN DEFEATS USA, 5-4, IN GRECO-ROMAN DUAL MEET IN ESLOV, SWEDEN, FEB. 26 

The National Team from Sweden defeated a visiting team from the United States in a Greco-Roman dual meet, 5-4, in Eslov, Sweden, Feb. 26.

Sweden opened the meet with three straight victories in the lighter weights, and never trailed.

The first U.S. victory came at 152 pounds, when Derrick Mountsier (Ames, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) scored a solid 4-0 decision over Peter Johansson.

Competing one weight lower than his normal division, Ethan Bosch (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) edged two-time World bronze medalist Torbjorn Kornbakk, 3-2, in overtime.

After another Swedish victory, Quincey Clark (Eagan, Minn./Minnesota Storm) came back with a 7-2 win over Jorgen Andersson at 187.25 pounds.

In the final match of the evening, Billy Pierce (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm) defeated Jan-Ake Forslund, 4-2 at 286 pounds.

The U.S. team was coached by Dan Mello of Daphne, Ala. and Andy Seras of Schenectady, N.Y.
