Rulon Gardner (Mesa, Ariz./Sunkist Kids) claimed the 286 pound title at the 1998 Humgary Grand Prix of Greco-Roman Wrestling in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, Mar. 7-8. 
 Gardner, who placed fifth in the 1997 Greco-Roman World Championships, won the gold medal with a 4-0 decision over Deak Bardos Mihaly of Romania in the finals.
