U.S. GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLERS SHINE AT WORLD YOUTH GAMES
The U.S. wrestlers turned in a strong performance Sunday, as three competitors remain alive in the double-elimination tournament, including two guaranteed top six finishes.
Josh Lamano (Layton, Utah) advanced in the 52kg weight division with two wins in three tries.
Meanwhile, Justin Millard (Bellefonte, Pa.), who placed eighth in the Cadet World Championships earlier this summer,won his opening two matches, to advance to the semifinals with two wins.
In the 83kg weight class, Jeremiah Knabe (Jackson, Minn.) received a bye and guaranteed himself a top six finish.
Zach Lamano (Layton, Utah) and Roy Williams (Titusville, N.J.) lost two matches and were eliminated.
The third day of Greco-Roman wrestling competition is slated for Sunday.

95 kg - Fedofeyez Vladmir (BEL) won by technical fall over Roy Williams (Titusville, N.J.), 10-0; Turovoljac Nenad (YUG) won by fall over Williams.
