USA Greco-Roman Wrestlers lose dual to Sweden in Malmo, Sweden 
 Sweden defeated the U.S. Greco-Roman wrestling team in a dual meet, 23-10, in Malmo, Sweden, Feb. 25. The U.S. team is in Malmo to participate at the Sweden Cup, Feb. 26-28.  
 Sweden won the first three matches when Joachim Soderman scored a decision over 1996 Olympic Silver Medalist Brandon Paulson (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm), 3-0, at 54 kg/119 lbs. Peter Stjernberg scored a technical fall over Steve Mays (Pensacola, Fla./U.S. Navy) at the 58 kg/127.75 lb. weight class, 13-0, and Robert Olsson recorded a technical fall over Ally Sleiman (Colorado Springs, Colo.), 14-2, at the 63 kg/138.75 lb. weight class.   
 Kevin Vogel (Colorado Springs, Colo./Michigan WC) recorded a victory for the U.S. over Caesar Kroeger with a technical fall, 15-5, at the 76 kg/176.5 lb. weight class. Sweden won the next three matches with two wins at the 85 kg/187.25 lb. class and a win at the 97 kg/213.75 lb. class.   
 Mattais Erikson scored a decision over Quincy Clark (New Brighton, Minn./Minnesota Storm), 5-2, in one of the 85 kg bouts, and Martin Lidberg, who placed third at the 1998 World Championships, scored a decision over Jason Gleasman (Boonville, N.Y./New York AC) of the U.S., 4-1, to win the other 85 kg match. Sweden won its last match of the dual at the 97 kg/213.75 lb. class when 1995 World Champion Mikael Ljunberg scored a technical fall over Jason Klohs (Osseo, Minn./Minnesota Storm), 10-0. 
 In the final bout, Billy Pierce (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm) decisioned Eddy Bengsston of Sweden, 4-0, at the 130 kg/286 lb. weight class to bring the final dual score to 23-10 in favor of Sweden.
